Growing up I have always been kind and empathetic. From as early as I can remember, I have focused on how other people feel, and if hurt how I can make them feel better. Not even my friends but anyone or anything I came across. I would move worms off the street, when it rained and return them to grass, I would check in on my friends and see how they were doing. I distinctly remember that during recess in fourth grade, we were having popsicles. A girl in my class dropped hers and cried, gave her mine, and then walked away. These actions from my childhood have scaled up in my early adult age, during my final years of high school, I created a Wellness club, with the sole goal of helping my peers work through their problems. Now leaving this club behind me as I enter College, I take everything I have learned and use it to help build relationships, and help people I'm close with, and with those I'm not. You might be wondering what this has to do with Business or a work environment. But I believe If you can treat someone with respect, and kindness, relationships can be built and over time trust can be formed and connections made.
