Hello there, I'm Tyler.I am a full-stack web developer and support specialist based in Los Angeles, CA. After spending many fruitful years working in the health and fitness industry, I made the decision to double down on a lifelong curiosity with programming and completed a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Northwestern University's School of Professional Studies. My skillset is focused thus far in Javascript, Typescript, the MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS), MySQL, and PostrgresQL. My experience in the quality assurance phase of the software engineering process has allowed me to develop my facility with the test-driven development modality and instilled in me a passion for elegant, efficient design that is built to last.My values as a member of a team are built on a deep belief in the power of collaboration. I strive to continuously learn and grow as both a professional engineer and a human being; deepening my understanding of the technology with which I work and its potential to provide meaningful benefit to those with whom I connect. I pride myself on my ability to communicate directly and with kindness and have a voracious desire for constructive feedback to continually refine my work.In my spare time, I try to spend as much time outside as humanly possible.
