Hey there, I’m Tyler! 👋🏽I graduated from Georgia State University with a BS in Journalism concentrating in Public Relations and a Speech Communication Minor. Despite graduating, I still consider myself a student because I love constantly learning new things; Half As Interesting on YouTube is my jam, and Google is my best friend. At GSU, I worked as a University Assistant in the Multicultural Center. I was a program coordinator and mentor for the Womxn of Color cohort within the Community Connections: Mentoring Initiative. I helped plan events and workshops and develop the 2021-2022 cohort curriculum. While working in the center, I discovered an interest in DEI work as well as program and event planning.As a Social Media Intern at Forrester, I was responsible for the following:- Owning organic social media content for three B2B market demand programs- Creating content for the employee advocacy platform- Collaborating with the following teams: Brand, Demand, Portfolio MarketingI love working around social media because you’re never confined to a box, things are constantly changing, and you’re empowered to keep learning. Areas of the industry that I’d like to learn more about are Influencer Marketing, Community Management, and Social Media Management.My passion lies in showing others how they can use social media more intentionally as a tool that inspires and develops positive communities.In my free time, I enjoy playing The Sims, practicing self-care through skincare, listening to music, and supporting the works of Black creatives and entrepreneurs.
