They also perform watch standing duties ensuring personnel are properly trained as helmsman, lookouts, messengers and Boatswain mate of the watch. My primary collateral duties on board the USS Nimitz were training coordinator, repair part ordering, and divisional career counselor. I successfully completed BM A-school, Probe Maintenance, replenishment at sea -stream school, and several leadership development courses (see JST).
