Attend baseball tournaments and showcases to evaluate and write about what players have to offer to coaches at the collegiate and professional level. During tournaments, collect video and write daily recap articles known as ‘scout notes’ highlighting the top prospects competing in the event. During showcases, write notes from defensive workouts, batting practice and games that can be developed into brief reports about the players’ talents and skillsets.

Daily tasks included emailing/calling coaches, tracking team and player eligibility, coordinating roster additions, creating tournament schedules, and managing field staff and equipment.

Trained and managed the staff assigned to working TrackMan analytics and recording in-game data/analytics throughout events. Worked TrackMan system for large events like WWBA World Championship and the CBS Sports televised PG 14u Select Festival Game.

The primary responsibility of the position is to score/complete each game using DiamondKast software. This includes scoring every play of the game and getting every substitution change and pitch recorded. This also includes taking ample scouting notes on the players and recording each pitch type and velocity. The other main responsibility of this position is to make sure everything runs smoothly at the field to which you are assigned. In most cases, the scout/field manager will be the only person present from Perfect Game. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, confirming the field is ready for play, confirm umpires are on the property prior to games and on field prior to the start time, confirm both teams are present and ready to start play at the official start time, and to make sure all games start on time.

Manage a budget of roughly $25,000 including fund allocations to items such as umpires, field costs, travel expenses, equipment, uniforms and association fees. Schedule games with other universities and coordinate necessary travel. Oversee community involvement including community service, fundraising, attendance of other sporting events and player development.

Supervise, coordinate, and assist with daily events for Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs. Act as a liaison between participants, RecSports staff, athletic trainers, officials, scorekeepers, field maintenance staff and spectators. Manage student staff and their performance during shifts. Ensure the safety and proper conduct of all participants, spectators and staff. Ensure that all documents and forms are completed properly and accurately.

Oversaw the operations of the facility on a daily basis, assuring that all machines, etc. were running as well as scheduling private lessons/team facility time. Managed facility financials in regards to player memberships, merchandise, and facility rentals.

Served as co-tournament director for various tournaments put on by the academy through overseeing field, personnel, and equipment management while staying in contact with coaches/team managers to assure a smooth event. Coordinated and carried out various baseball showcases and tryouts, as well as served as a board member in charge of selecting athletes for the various teams of the organization. Served as a coach on a variety of the organization's teams, as well as one of the academies pitching instructors for all ages of the organization (Ages 8-18). Carried out a variety of social media/advertising campaigns to promote the academy and it's successes.
