Sort Manager
Current• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.• Seal containers or materials, using fasteners, nails, and hand tools.• Clear jams in sortation equipment.• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in trucks and warehouses.• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in trucks, warehouses, or other areas.• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.• Providing administrative and clerical support to the members of the Quality Assurance Team.• Ensure products are up to standards for delivery.• Communication with different areas to ensure the company’s success (Customers, Drivers, Teammates and Management)• Provide reports of data for management to observe. • A senior role which involves overseeing the production of goods and/or provision of services.• To make sure team is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.• Managing day-to-day activities, analyzing statistics and reading and writing reports.Oversee daily visual inspections of loads to ensure proper quality for customers and vendors.• FedEx Ground Mid-South District IB Rookie of The Year FY19.• Apart ZMUR Station of The Year - GULF FY20• Helped open SDRS, turning it into one of the best RSF in the company.• Helps maintain some of the highest overnight service in the LNST, helping the district reach #2 in the company.
