At LG Electronics, my main job was to work directly with different electronics retail stores. My goal was to fit in with the sales teams at each store, helping to make LG Home Appliances more visible and boost their sales.I’m proud to say that I made a real difference at a key store we worked with. We took it from just an average performer to one of the top sales stores in the region. We even broke into the top 5 sales stores across the whole UK.But my job wasn't just about sales. I also had to keep our head office updated about how each store was doing. This feedback helped the big bosses make better decisions and plan better strategies, and that led to more sales overall. So while my job was about selling more appliances, it was also about helping LG understand our customers better so we could serve them more effectively. Despite thoroughly enjoying my role as a Brand Ambassador for LG, the role, unfortunately, came to an end due to the termination of contracts between LG and the stores, resulting in my redundancy. Nonetheless, the experience I gained and the impact I made during my time there remains a highlight of my career.

While working at Arrow Electronics, I wore the hat of an IT Technician, handling an array of electrical equipment. This included a broad spectrum of devices such as Small Form Factor Systems, Tower Computers, Servers, Hard Drives, Mobile Phones, Peripheral Equipment, All-in-One Systems, Notebooks, and Monitors.Much of my work involved intensive data removal to make sure that all equipment adhered to security and data laws. Often, I'd be given faulty equipment that required some detective work. I'd run diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and then get my hands dirty with repairs or replacing parts.Every now and then, I'd also spend some time in the recycling department. If a machine was beyond repair, it was my job to take it apart piece by piece and make sure each component ended up in the right place. It was challenging but rewarding work, knowing that I was playing my part in reducing electronic waste.

At Delamode, I stepped into the role of an Inventory Stock Controller, where I had the opportunity to manage a dedicated team of employees. Our mission was to handle a range of inventory control services which included conducting comprehensive warehouse stock counts, retrieving missing stock, managing damaged stock, and providing tailored assistance to other departments when necessary.My daily responsibilities revolved around delegating various tasks to the team, ensuring urgent issues received priority, and continuously monitoring progress to meet expectations. I also handled substantial data entry and modifications in the internal stock system, requiring a keen eye for detail and accuracy.One of the valuable takeaways from this role was learning how to effectively lead a team. I made sure tasks were completed in a timely manner, all while avoiding micromanagement. I focused on being considerate of the team's capabilities and needs, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment. This experience honed my leadership skills and gave me a deep understanding of inventory management.
