• Started as an Android Developer and promoted to Native Apps Architect after 3 months. • Released our own RTMP streaming SDK which intelligently adjusts both framerate and bitrate according to network conditions. The SDK allows for mid-stream camera switching, saving video locally in HD, and flash, zoom, and focus camera controls.• Implemented screencasting, allowing users to stream the phone's screen. This feature became popular for streaming mobile games.• Developed the ability to stream from many external devices, including GoPro.• Developed direct messaging capabilities, allowing users to message individual users, as well as groups. Message types include text, gifs, and static images.• Monetized the application through in app billing and the creation of a virtual currency that users can use to tip streamers.• Expanded social reach through contact matching with Firebase Digits, as well as signup/sharing through Facebook, Twitter, and Google.• Interacted with NASA balloon project teams for the recent total solar eclipse, developing the process to live stream the eclipse from balloons at up to 100k feet. The site received 7+ million views on the eclipse day. • Executed a process to bring Charleston Battery USL soccer games to live tv stations in Charleston, South Carolina and Kingston, Jamaica. • Implemented Android and web Google Cast support for our HLS streams. • Extensive experience with the Android SDK, including usage of Activities, Fragments, Push Notifications, Custom Views, Broadcast Receivers, Widgets, Intents and complex MediaCodec and MediaMuxer API's.
