Impact Team Leader
CurrentMy position as the Impact Team Leader at the Port Phillip EcoCentre is focused on joining the dots between partnership building, policy, advocacy, and citizen science for better environmental and climate management outcomes. This role is leading the "Shaping best practice under Victoria’s new environmental laws" project, "Citizen science fit for legal use" initiative, and coordinate the Impact Team including the flagship Port Phillip Baykeeper program and citizen science projects. My role enables the EcoCentre’s longer-term ability to integrate, amplify and apply resources, data and knowledge that emerge from time-bound projects. This also enables project-based environmental work to reach its full impact potential, by acknowledging the longer timelines required for effective advocacy and cross-sectoral knowledge-sharing based on project results.
