The role of assistant store manager required that I communicate the daily objectives to my team, aligning the focus of the store to the goals corporate requested. I was responsible for executing marketing deployments, event planning for book launches, and I spearheaded our community outreach to grow brand loyalty in the greater Morgantown area. Other responsibilities would include: employee training and education, time management for all employees, tracking and maintaining Books-A-Million goals and store revenue, and maintaining a clean and shop-able store.
