I am a National Associate for Beta Upsilon Chi. I work in Ft. Worth at the national office for Beta Upsilon Chi. I work with the executive body of the chapters of Beta Upsilon Chi on several campuses around the United States.

I work with freshmen men and help them transition as they enter college. I work at Creswell Hall at the University of Georgia.

I am working on constructing a small insert clone library, constructed from microbial DNA found in the hindgut of Tipula abdominalis. I am interested in screening for interesting enzymatic activity from the isolated clones. In particular I am interested in finding pectinases, cellulases, and xylanases that will aid in the treatment of cellulolytic material during fermentations to yield more ethanol. .
