As a Frontend Engineer at Planet Technologies, I create web apps that are user-friendly, responsive, and performant. I use technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, and React Hook Forms to build custom features and solutions that meet the needs of our clients. One of my recent projects involved creating a custom classification portion marking tool that saved the company around $90,000.I have over six years of software development experience, working with various frameworks, languages, and tools. I started my career as a Technical Writer Co-Op at CAE USA, where I learned the importance of clear and concise documentation. I then transitioned to a Software Engineering Co-Op role, where I gained hands-on experience in developing, testing, and integrating simulator systems. I continued to work as a Frontend Software Engineer at CAE USA and GovernmentCIO, where I maintained and improved multiple web apps for government and military clients, using React, Redux, and other technologies. At CAE USA, I assisted in the company-wide transition from Waterfall to Agile, using SAFe practices such as Program Increment planning and Scrum. I am SAFe 5 Practitioner Certified and have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from University of South Florida.I am intrinsically motivated to learn new things and expand my knowledge and skills. I enjoy diving into new technologies and I do not stop until I understand them all the way down. I strive to be the go-to knowledge source on a team and to share my insights and expertise with others. I also make it my mission to make future developers' lives easier by writing squeaky clean code, using verbose naming, commenting, and coding standards, and building clear and logical file architectures. I am a team player and an expert communicator, aspiring to combine my broad background and strong technical skills to see products grow and succeed.
