Develop & manage data analysis State Of Charge & Resiliency Calculator (SOCr) software project: An in-house software product to perform detailed load analysis for microgrid projects. Replaced outdated and confusing manual approach.Work on solar feasibility studies with both on-site and off-site analytical contributions. Perform load analysis to identify site requirements of generation and storage. Use of commercial solar layout software to identify potential install locations.

My time at Continental Automotive exposed me to a state-of-the-art technical development workplace. I was assigned tasks across both hardware and software domains. My two primary projects during this experience were:1. Implementing a software testing suite for the embedded system bootloader: the software modules which define core operational parameters and logic. My deliverable was completed in a cross of C and C++ using Google's GTest suite and ensures stability of core firmware.2. Building a hardware testing suite to determine the operational temperature ranges of our LiDAR devices, and to calibrate laser emitting and detecting sensors, essential components of the LiDAR devices being developed at Continental. This involved fabrication of a physical testbed utilizing high accuracy motors, fiber optics, and laser attenuation devices within a temperature controlled oven. This project also involved the authoring of software for automation and drivers for various 3rd party components. My testing environments enabled in-depth evaluation and predictable performance of LiDAR modules at Continental Automotive.I maintained documentation and managed task workflows via enterprise Confluence, Git, and Jira.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This eight month tenure was made possible by my accelerated coursework during my undergraduate program at Chapman University, where I completed my graduation requirements one year ahead of schedule.

Under sponsorship as a part of the IEEE Blockchain Transactive Energy (BCTE) Initiative, completed a case study regarding the potential application of blockchain to the energy grid.• Designed and implemented a software prototype aimed to enable a peer-to-peer energy trading platform.• Worked with Hyperledger Fabric, an open-source private blockchain developed by the Linux Foundation.• Collaborated closely with an ElectriqPower representative and an IEEE project manager to meet specifications.• Developed the Hyperledger logic and smart contracts using the Golang language• API framework and front-end using NodeJSEnergyChain was presented to an IEEE forum in November 2022 by myself and the ElectriqPower Vice President, Stephen Honikman. My efforts aimed to contribute to developing a modern grid and the next generation of energy transacting.

During my time as an Engineering Associate at Acelerex, I assisted in integrating a smart controller for a residential electric microgrid system.• Responsible for identifying and documenting IoT and serial bus communication channels within the Lynx microgrid project.• Assist in configuring the 'Lynx' microgrid, a resilient residential solar microgrid system.• Conduction of rigorous testing and verification to ensure the system was running smoothly.My experience at Acelerex deepened my understanding of microgrid systems and their place in the energy landscape. The Lynx microgrid project was particularly valuable, giving me a firsthand look at the practical applications of a residential microgrid. This experience has equipped me with useful skills and knowledge for future projects in the energy field.

Straight out of high school, I plunged into the demanding role of Dock Operations Quality Control Supervisor at Ocean Beauty Seafoods in Naknek, Alaska.• For an intense three-month stretch, I navigated 16-hour workdays at the peak of the Alaskan Salmon season, proving my resilience and adaptability.• Responsible for quality control of salmon intake, I scrutinized the intake of hundreds of thousands of pounds of fish per day from industrial fishing vessels, ensuring that only the best made it through our gates.• Manage key dock operations, orchestrating the efficient flow of activities. The fast-paced environment at Ocean Beauty Seafoods was a baptism by fire that honed my organizational and leadership skills. I developed a strong work ethic, learned to multitask effectively, and became adept at problem-solving under pressure. Despite the long hours and demanding work, this experience served as an invaluable foundation for my career, particularly as we navigated the challenges of the COVID pandemic
