Contract-to-hire from MODISCommit to driving the Agile Transformation of OptumRx at the individual, scrum team, and release train levels. Started at Optum on a 6-month contract that was repeatedly extended.~ScrumMastered two large, distributed teams. *For a six-month period, SrumMastered three distributed teams--two teams from an acquired company taking their first steps toward Agile Scrum while beginning their first “Optum” project, which was consolidating legacy portals into a new, best-of-breed portal with a first-time implementation of Adobe Experience Manager. *During this period, my “home” team swelled to 40 members. It was split into the two teams that I continued to ScrumMaster.~Invested in Rally (CA Agile) training and rapidly became the program’s go-to guy for administering Rally, using Rally, and exporting data from Rally.~Formally mentored two Project Managers in their transitions to ScrumMastering, assisted several Cross-Application Project Managers moving into the consolidated portal project, and helped two new Product Managers from Development and QA get up to speed with processes and tools.~Engaged in the growth of my department’s offerings and processes, and my personal development, by participating in Communities of Practice, an Agile Book Club, and sharing facilitation duties of department’s meetings.
