As Area Steward for the Metro NY Tri State area, the responsibilities include but are not limited to these points:- Lead contact for the Area Stewardship Council (NYC, CT, and NJ) representing the collective voice and wisdom of the Area Stewardship Council.- Assists and guides the Area Stewardship Council with their primary function of growing strong communities in the Area.- Oversees all Area roles, operational teams and Administrator with the authority to respond to critical situations and make a quick decision including the temporary sanction of a person and implementation of Safer Circles and Communities Guidelines- MKP USA Area/Center Council monthly call and is responsible for updating the Area on any important issues. - Be placed on the MKP USA Area Center/Circle Council email list and monitor for important updates and distribute them as needed.- Monitor area functions to facilitate compliance with MKP USA Policies and Procedures.
