For the last decade, I have been honing my gifts across multiple disciplines. I have been a consistently working consultant in the areas of Marketing, Development and Communications. I spent my days innovating program/content development, managing internal and external communications for my clients through a strategic marketing lens, cultivating brand awareness for non-profits and individuals to maximize their impact, and raising funds for my clients’ foundations, organizations, as well as our own internal productions. Over my career, I have garnered $1.2 Mil in additional revenue for various organizations, productions, and causes. This is what you will discover on paper, but this does not tell the whole of my story.While building my business, I have also been a fierce cultural organizer and advocate for HIV health, LGBTQ rights, inclusive policy, and other social justice and healing initiatives for marginalized communities. As an HIV positive, queer individual, I closely identify with the needs of others, and the work goes beyond a salary; it is a personal passion. While at THRIVE SS, I have developed training for clinicians and service for providers in the Atlanta Metro area to provide more efficient and holistic service to people living with HIV/AIDS, built a coalition of national coordinators, and expanded on other existing great work by the organization. In my career as a privately contracted brand strategist, I gained critical experience in my work with creatives, entrepreneurs, corporations, non-profits and other entities by translating their work into impactful digital content strategies. As our world becomes increasingly virtual/digital, I believe that my background in creating palatable, relatable, and engaging content campaigns will be an asset to a team looking to leverage digital assets and strategies into tangible growth. My career path has afforded me the experience to uniquely understand the roles that various media, art, and messaging play in shifting paradigms and consciousness while creative positive impact.
