Engineering Assistant
Current● Help train employees when needed, delegating work for deadlines to be met, attending conference calls to discuss engineering issues that need to be resolved● Using Fiber Handoff’s, Field Notes, and TIRKs to cross reference information to inventory fiber counts.● Doing escalated work orders for upper management● Covering work in three states. Arizona with 84 wire centers, Colorado with 87 wire centers, and New Mexico with 71 wire centers.● Contacting Field Engineer’s, Fiber Planner’s, or Project Manager’s on projects that are missing information or to verify information to keep the work consistently moving forward.● Staying ahead of deadlines, creating job numbers, checking for flow-thru fibers, backhaul assignments for both new and existing orders.● Assigning Construction Project Administrators in New Mexico to one of the 71 wire centers. Then emailing 7-9 SPOC’s the info that I created and/or discovered. Update Armor with the SPOC’s assigned to the jobs.● Send out requests for fiber count, Job numbers, Pre-sales numbers, Armor numbers, and Frame Codes.
