Having spent the past nine years studying and working in the aviation industry, the unique experiences that I have gained have set me for a variety of abilities. My opportunity to join a startup Part 121 supplemental airline, Elite Airways, and mold it through the growing pains as to a scheduled operator set me up with the foundation of many hats to function through various departments of any airline; technical publications for manual creation and revisions, ground security coordinator training for flight attendants and gate agents, ground handlers for SGHA agreements, the finance department during busy seasons to reconcile with fixed based operators, fuel providers for quoting and contracting, IT department to help restructure internal server architecture for a fluid flow of databases, and crew scheduling, to build and maintain a Part 117 calculator for crew duty times and limitations. I have also had the opportunity to work with airport managers and planners to establish the airline for seasonal -scheduled services throughout the U.S. and Mexico as well as working with Transport Canada and DGAC to receive air carrier certificates in Canada and Mexico. It was a pleasure to do it all and I would do it all over if given the chance. The opportunity to learn through those processes has only grown my passion for the aviation industry. Working alongside an array of aviation personnel has taught me to recognize, utilize, and seek the strengths and skills of others in all levels of the field.
