As Advanced Analytics Manager I have had the chance to create different products to aid universities improve learner analytics operations:- Learner Analytics production: Once the university has shared cleaned data we deploy a web portal with expert system feature that includes machine learning in less of 100 hours. Implementing this framework we reduced three months to 100 hours.- Student DNA: this is a web portal where students can answer different kind of surveys. These ones help to profile what kind of students are enrolled. One of the features of this survey services, once students have completed, they received automatically feedback and advices. As well a back-office was developed to setup the feedback rules logic. To implement the surveys, we done an integration with formio. Self-data assessment: one important step when data science is provided is historical data recollection. We develop a tool where clients can upload their data sources and tests run to assess the data quality. Once all tests are approved data is scaled to the data science. Also as a Manager I have the change to lead:- Data Scientists- Data Engineers- Web Developer- Cloud Architects - QA & Devops Engineers.

Student dropout score: based on student features we score the risk of student to drop out next academic periods. we have implemented this kind of models for different students at least in 10 universities around the world. Those models have precision between 70% and 90% without overfitting. Thus, these models have helped institutions to improve retention 2%. Academic Alert: based on students’ activities we have developed models to predict early alerts of students with a high likelihood to fail their courses. These scores help faculties to focus which students need an intervention. We have different models based on the academic week. Student financial debs: having historical financial information we compute a score to predict who will need a financial aid or those students with a high probability to end the academic period with debs. We use percentiles as unit to guide financial departments to offer scholarships or payments plansLead scoring solutions: Using the information recollected from call centers and web form pages we develop a score to focus on these students with a high probability to transform in enrollments. We integrate these scores with CRM to receive feedback about students pointed.

In this position I have performed the migration of statistical on-premise engines solutions into the cloud of azure.I have design an infrastructure, using tech stacks as:- Data Factory- Azure SQL- Blob Storages- Queue storages- MongoDbs- Serverless- Databricks- Azure ML Studio

Technical lead: Regisys: Student Information System (for faculties), this one helps to drive enrollments for faculties’ courses. Regisys processes enrollments for more than 20 universities and this count with approval flows and once this has been completed a Black board (LMS) integration is executed to send all the inscription and faculties have access their courses.

Finance App: UNAH has different administrative areas, so, they can operate with a budget. This App helped to automate the next process: Budget approval, Administrative request, Administrative approvals, legal approvals, finance approval.University Commissioner Application: The university having many students and teachers, many complaints are generated. With this application, the administrative team can manage the complaints, their resolutions and complete log to analyze which schools receive complaints and support marketing about harassment and student abuse.
