I am an urban planner with a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and demonstrated experience working on infrastructure, economic development, transportation, re-use, sustainability, and design projects in a variety of contexts.Highlights of my qualifications and achievements include:• My studies, professional plans, proposals, renderings, and modeling have won awards and been recognized academically and professionally. Most recently my work was recognized with “The 2013 Outstanding Graduate Student Award” by the Virginia Chapter of The American Planning Association.• In my academic pursuits, I have experience in Architecture and degrees in Economics, History, and Urban and Regional Planning.• Professionally, I have significant experience working with community groups, architects, city planners, urban designers, economic developers, and attorneys. I will be eligible for AICP, certification upon obtaining a full-time, planning position.• Personally, I am a bright, hard-working individual, who works well alone or in teams, and have a working knowledge of Spanish. I served as Vice-President of my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning Program’s Student Association, and I am an Eagle Scout.
