Calcutta. The work involved detailed analysis of company stocks and recommendation of target prices. It involved detailed financial modeling and valuation of shares using DCF and other comparative methods like P/E, EV/Sales, etc. I undertook comprehensive qualitative appraisal of the company. I had to rate the stock as a buy, hold or a sell. I was in charge of initiating and maintaining research coverage on technology and industrial companies which are listed on NYSE, NASDAQ and on European stock exchanges, which also include top Indian outsourcers. I undertook detailed research and analysis of industry sector namely Aerospace & Defense as most of the stocks under my coverage fall in this sector. The output of this activity was a sector outlook.
