As the Team Leader for Quantum Technologies at CMC, I lead both quantum computing and hardware initiatives, significantly advancing Canada's quantum technology ecosystem. My role encompassed strategic leadership, project management, partnership development, and educational program creation.Leadership and Management: Led a team of quantum computing scientists in developing and delivering over 30 quantum computing projects in collaboration with 18 Canadian universities, SMEs, and government organizations.Innovation in Services: Created the world's first cost-sharing superconducting quantum device fabrication service, making advanced quantum technologies more accessible to researchers and industry partners.Educational Programs: Designed and delivered hands-on training programs in quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning, and the design, simulation, fabrication, and testing of silicon quantum photonics and superconducting quantum devices. Trained over 300 highly qualified personnel through these initiatives.Grant Acquisition: Successfully applied for and secured grants to fund research projects and training programs, ensuring sustained growth and innovation within the organization.Industry Partnerships: Initiated and developed partnerships with multiple organizations and industries to deliver training and novel services to the Canadian quantum ecosystem.Sponsorship Development: Secured sponsorship from several industries and organizations to support and expand training programs.

• Developed the numerical model of a novel mechanism to transmit information across a quantum chip in collaboration with experimental research groups from Zurich and Delft. Results published in Science and Nature journals• Proposed two innovative projects with collaborators from different fields, resulting in two research grants from the Institut quantique. Hired and supervised three interns leading to three articles• Working hand-in-hand with experimental researchers to create the first prototype of a microwave amplifier that I proposed in a recent article.
