I have overseen the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for our operations in Turkey. I was responsible for overseeing all operations in Turkey, including managing demand and supply, inventory, and product availability.Demand Management (Forecasting)• I organized all supply and demand materials and meetings to prepare and present monthly S&OP and executive S&OP meetings with commercial teams and top management.• Analyzing historical trends, introducing new products, and evaluating demand versus sales gaps to generate the most precise S&OP forecasts for the business unit.• Optimizing forecast accuracy at the aggregate level to enhance customer service and facilitate seamless production scheduling at the sites.• Coordinating with the commercial team to plan new product launches and updating sales forecasts accordingly.Supply Management• I developed a monthly replenishment plan by considering sales forecasts, current inventory, open replenishment orders, and target inventory parameters to meet corporate inventory level guidelines.• Managing inventory involves proactively identifying slow-moving and obsolete items to enable timely mitigation plans and corrective actions.Project Management• I was the country leader for the IBP project.• Leading the development of distributor forecast accuracy.
