14 years of outside sales experience, with an additional 9 within the credit union space. I have visited, sat, and engaged in meaningful conversations with employees of over 300 grocery store locations repeatedly over the course of many years within Southern California and Northern (warehouses & corporate offices included). My journey started in the outside sales world within the grocery industry with a focus on customer service : dsd, route sales, route management, new store set up, schematics, sales coordinating, promotions and traveling sales. I lead myself daily into a routine of delivering high satisfaction and service while also developing my relationships with the right people(decision makers). Outside sales is a great teacher. We fast forward into the credit union sphere and take on a business development role working within the same grocery industry and along side previous store connections and relationships that had been built which included ownership, store directors, grocery mgrs, category buyers and more. I drove growth & education to the community and underserved while staying committed to building direct deposit growth and membership. I helped establish a department that was just at its beginning stage when i arrived. From ideation to the creation of tailored offerings and implementation it is a very rewarding feeling to know that i helped shape Vons Credit Union's growth and success to Top 200 in the "nation" for strength, safety & soundness amongst credit unions in 2021. a few more skills worth sharing: outbound calls, call center, loans, branch work, and last but not least branch manager training. Lots of opportunity came during covid. It's been quite the journey!The sales and credit union world have given me everything. They have shaped me. From mom and pop to brick and mortar to corporate and entrepreneurial humans. I've experienced it all. I believe this is what has allowed me the blessing of understanding certain business principles, concepts and an ability for problem solving solutions and innovative ideas. I am a mindset person, having a positive can do attitude is essential, necessary, and important for paving success in any endeavor is my deep belief.Growth is a powerful thing.
