Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is a process of building a physical object by adding material layer by layer. Being experienced in additive manufacturing means having a deep understanding of the various technologies and materials used in the process, as well as the design and engineering principles that go into creating a successful print. This includes proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 3D models, as well as knowledge of the various types of 3D printers and their capabilities. Additionally, having a strong understanding of the post-processing techniques used to finish and refine printed parts.
