As Head IT Infrastructure – Sourcing , I am handling strategic sourcing function for both capital expenditures and operational spends across India offices on commodities like IT Hardware and Software including MAN/WAN Links Service, Mobility, Toll-free, Skype Sip Trunk. Planning, developing and overseeing company. I work with leadership teams to implement Sourcing functional plans and policies by establishing an innovative engagement model along with senior executives in diverse geographic locations. My role revolves around delivering leadership in strong partnership with business line, product development, supply chain, and finance departments along with implementing change management initiatives in area including cost optimization. Manage large size teams and plan and implement programs leading to enhanced value creation, spend visibility, processes, training, metrics, and customer satisfaction. My role included assessing the suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality. I ensured that the company's policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards along with performing regular audits and implementing company policies.During my role at IBM, I handled supply chain management tool automation and execution of beta-version and worked with onshore colleagues and executed global influenced transactions to achieve organizational needs. I also liaised with original equipment manufacturers and original design manufacturers for lab development services for 3 business locations of IBM System and Technology group. Maintained capital budget planning, sourcing, procurement, and logistics function of IT hardware & software; involved in quarterly capital expenditures and expense review with India leadership on quarterly Ask & Track utilization on released budget. Handled purchase of Prototype products from original equipment manufacturers and original design manufacturers following organizational needs and requirements. Moreover, I administered annual maintenance contracts and other rate contracts following timescales and service level agreements. Offered sustenance for an internal requirement for labs on IBM products servers, storage, networking switches/parts with IBM factories (Malaysia and US) through commodity strategy and spend management.

At Dell India, my role majorly included driving strategic and tactical analyses related to the procure-to-pay function as well as a cost-savings initiative across the company and managing OEM/ODM supply chain function. I collaborate regarding IT Hardware like server, storage, laptop, desktop, networking equipment including routers, switches, security appliances, firewalls, etc. and software including business and infrastructure software, test and measuring equipment for Dell research & test labs.Additionally, I created budgets for timely procurement and planning of materials/spare parts resulting in flawless and cost-effective supply. I directed Dell product group for IT procurements, testing & measuring equipment, and engineering services for prototype product testing. Also, configured and customized factory tool on servers, storage, Networking Switches / Parts with ISMART/Gii/ DOMS tool for procuring from the Dell factories (Penang and US) in order to provide provision on Internal requirement for Labs on DELL Products.

Chennai Area, India

As a Procurement Supervisor, I marked my role highlights by transitioning Wipro BPO’s first procurement outsourcing process from a US-based client and developing global vendor database for key stakeholders that was later utilized by the client’s procurement teams globally. Further, I managed operations team in assisting the clients by providing SCM/Procurement KPO and transaction processing support while reporting to the GM – SCM Ops for all the operational progress. During my tenure, I handled a project that was the first initiative of Wipro BPO in KPO segment. I provided support functions for procurement to US & European clients; procured goods/services through Reverse Auction process E- procurement. I conducted dynamic bidding events (DBE) through a web-based procurement tool and provided contract management support to clients.

At Acer India, I was handling the migration of supply chain management function from Mfgpro tool to clarify tool along with the execution of reverse logistics. Meanwhile, I maintained 90% TAT & migration of warehouse management transaction from Symix Tool to SAP MM R/3. Further, I assisted Acer Partner and Service Franchises on material requirement across India for the after-sale products support with added responsibility of handling procurement Transaction with Global Vendors for RMA and Re-Export. Led center operations with focus on RMA co-ordination with HQ vendors for Credit note and Warranty, Vendor management, Demand & forecast planning, Re-export, Support Supply chain. Disposal of Scrap & Reverse logistics. My role also included overseeing Purchasing Orders (trading goods & Projects), maintain the Material master and Item master.

As Logistics Executive, my accountability included supporting WIPRO's 14 Franchises (Karnataka & Goa) on function like Demands Planning, forecast materials and Warehouse management and more. I collaborated with vendors for Quality repair, return by repair Vendors and Onsite vendor calls.
