I am a driven Group Ethics & Compliance Officer with more than 15 years of experience in deploying Ethics & Compliance programs and monitoring and reporting its performance in global organizations. I currently work as VP Ethics & Compliance at Skanska where I am leading the Group’s Ethics & Compliance Office. In this role, the main responsibilities are to develop, implement, and maintain an effective Ethics & Compliance program within the Group to ensure Skanska Group and its business partners are acting according to Skanska’s values, its Code of Conduct & Group Policies, laws, and regulations. The Group’s Ethics & Compliance program includes the following areas: Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Competition, Conflict of Interest, Trade Sanctions and Data Protection (shared with Group IT). Some key activities included in this role are:- Performing Ethics Risk Assessments with all Business Units (BU) to identify and mitigate Ethics risks related to the BU’s specific operations, followed by Assurance Reviews to to monitor progress on planned mitigating activities- Being responsible for Skanska’s Ethics Due Diligence process- Administer the Skanska Hotline and conducting investigations - Developing different types of training, including e-learning, face-to-face workshops, Ethical Dilemmas and Value moments to raise awareness,Prior to this role I was worked as Group Compliance Officer at Nordic Entertainment Group / Modern Times Group where I built up the company's Ethics & Compliance office covering anti-corruption, competition law, data protection, conflicts of interest and sanctions. Prior to joining NENT Group, I worked 10 years at Ericsson being in charge of its competition law matters worldwide and Ericsson’s Competition Compliance Program. I also have experience in the complex intersection of intellectual property rights and competition law from my work with Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing Organization. Before joining Ericsson, I worked 7 years for Advokatfirman Vinge, one of the largest commercial law firms in Scandinavia. Out of the 7 years, two years were spent in Brussels. I have been selected as Chairman of the ICC Sweden’s Committee on Competition. In the past I have also been a member of the Board of the Swedish In-House Lawyers’ Association.
