Head Of Engineering & Production
Responsible for leading engineering division for Tooling, design department. Responsible to plan, lead and monitor all production activities to ensure on time job completion at the required quality standard. Ensure of continuous development and implantation of work instruction manual and SOPs in the subordinating section in the Production department; Lathe, Boring and CNC section. Ensure of continuous development and implantation of work instruction manual and SOPs in the subordinating section in the EOM department; Tool Room, Process (M&Q) and CAD/CAM. Ensure Micro planning of all materials and consumables required for smooth production operations Ensure micro planning of man power in each section in accordance with production plan outlined by IPPC Review and critically analyze daily machining (efficiency etc.) and defects reports prepared by respective production engineers, and take actions to make improvements in system /processes accordingly. Ensure action and perform root cause analysis of all QDARs and devise and implement a strategy for preventing future occurrences. For all new incoming jobs, liaise with IPPC, Tooling Engineer and Quality to devise complete technical specification of process along with tooling and miscellaneous requirement for production. Liaise with CAD/CAM Engineer for design and engineering of Jigs and Fixtures. Ensure the complete financial costing and return of all new projects and get approval from Head works before manufacturing. Liaise with tooling engineer conduct audit, devise and implement a strategy of optimum application and handling of all tooling used in the shop floor. Highly responsible for effectively communicating machine maintenance issue/reports to Team lead maintenance Prepare and update comprehensive workforce requirement plan and safety compliance for the shop floor. At all times ensure that work force in his department remains at an optimum level thereby not increasing man costs.
