I am responsible for upgrading, updating and bringing organisational systems and practices of Engausa Global Technology Hub in line with modern corporate best practice. Led the team through ideation sessions and development of program logic model to aid understanding of the organisational changes that would take place thereby building support for the process across all levels in the organisation.2. Designed new Organogram to clarify reporting structures and management levels thereby improving efficiency and promoting cross-functional communication. 3. Developed Staff handbook to bring together all organisational policies, code of ethics and staff appraisal procedures in an easily accessible format for all team members leading to greater understanding of their rights and responsibilities as team members.4. Trained the team to develop program monitoring and evaluation systems that took advantage of end-to-end data management systems and tidy data to generate reports on project performance using agreed upon indicators.

I was responsible for project coordination on the Kano Accelerated Learning (KAL) project, a project designed to improve literacy and numeracy skills for pupils in primary 4 to 6 of Government primary schools in kano State. My key responsibilities included:1. Providing support and coordination to boost the capacity of Head teachers and ensure the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) methodology is properly implemented.2. Paying monitoring visits to schools to provide feedback to facilitators and ensure the TaRL approach is being delivered correctly. 3. Collecting program data for monitoring and evaluation to keep the content leads informed about identified problems and recommended solutions.4. Monitor the Strengthening Teachers' English Proficiency (STEP) self-study course to boost the English Language proficiency of public school teachers.Role achievements1. Improved learning outcomes for 50,000 pupils in literacy and numeracy.2. Capacity building for 1,029 teachers and 60 School support officers in Dawakin Tofa and Ungogo Local Government areas of Kano State thus building the capacity of State Government actors to deliver Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach.3. Improved engagement between SBMCs, PTAs and schools to advocate for higher school enrolment and attendance thus ensuring more pupils attend schools and reducing absenteeism.

Dakata, Kano State

I was responsible for organising, managing and coordinating the DakataLIFE Program in Kano State under the Supervision of the Program Manager. My key responsibilities included:1. I ensured training sessions at the DakataLIFE centre proceeded smoothly and responded to all challenges encountered on a daily basis.2. I established community volunteer networks and partnered with civil society organisations to provide free digital and financial literacy training to youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. 3. I followed up with program beneficiaries to collect data on post-training activities for monitoring and evaluation.4. I represented the Program Manager at meetings with Civil society partners, State Government actors and Community Leaders.Role achievements1. Improved digital and financial literacy skills of 414 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through the regular LIFE classes.2. Improved basic Microsoft office productivity and digital security skills to 300 girls from Junior Secondary schools through the Intel SheWillConnect workshops.3. Piloted and scaled five LIFE at School clubs in Secondary Schools within Kano State providing free basic computer skills training to 110 Secondary school students.

Dakata, Kano State

I conducted advocacy visits to ward heads, districts heads and community leaders in Dakata and Kawaji communities of Kano state to create awareness about the newly established DakataLIFE centre which provided free digital literacy training to disadvantaged youths. My key responsibilities included:1. I provided community and religious leaders with regular information about upcoming program activities.2. I assisted in the preparation of files and documents for the smooth running of programs.3. I assisted relationships with nongovernment organisations, civil society partners and community volunteers.4. Drafted reports of all programs and planning processes.Role achievements1. Created DakataLIFE volunteer database of 200 volunteers across 6 Local Governments in Kano metropolis thereby ensuring the project had enough experienced volunteers to call upon to facilitate LIFE classes.2. Generated visibility for Paradigm Initiative in Kano State by reaching out and forming partnerships with 20 civil society organisations and the Kano State Government.
