Clear Solutions

Clear Solutions focuses upon reducing diarrhoeal deaths in young children by promoting access to, and usage of, oral rehydration solution and zinc. Nearly 500,000 children die of diarrheal disease every year. That's about 1 child dying every minute of every day. We work to improve access to and awareness of a simple treatment that could prevent >90% of those deaths: oral rehydration solution and zinc. A co-package of ORS and zinc for one diarrheal illness costs less than a US$1, but usage remains low in many communities with the greatest need. Our vision is a world where no child dies a preventable death from diarrheal disease. Thank you for your support!
