Umar is driven by a passion for transformative change and recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s degree in International Development and Education, where he served as a UNESCO Fellow. His academic and professional experiences converge at the intersection of development economics, social entrepreneurship, and education. Over the past five years, Umar has focused on researching entrepreneurial education as a catalyst for addressing Africa's socio-economic challenges, aiming to empower communities by enhancing access to quality education and fostering sustainable economic growth.He has collaborated with organizations in Mozambique, South Africa, Nigeria, Somaliland, Nepal, and Japan, deepening his understanding of global educational systems and equipping him with the skills to implement innovative solutions tailored to unique local needs. As Umar continues his journey, he is committed to leveraging his knowledge and experiences to drive impactful change, inspire others, and contribute to building a more equitable world.
