CurrentAt present, I am managing payroll services for Nielsen, a multinational marketing research company, in its 21 regions which includes Middle East, Africa & Pakistan.I am also responsible for the development and enhancement of the company's Human Resource Management System (HRMS) which includes development of a Payroll Management self-service portal covering leave, expense, travel and loan management for the clients and their employees.The role covers the following areas;• To ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, overpayment recovery, leave management and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation. • To prepare complex payroll and human resource information for data input and assist with checking, quality control and maintenance of records to ensure accuracy, service quality and data integrity. • To assist the organization to meet its taxation, other legislative and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns, related reports, forms and other documentation as requested.• To resolve difficult inquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained.• Contributing to process improvement by participating in a range of payroll and service delivery reform activities.• Dashboard reporting on monthly basis for all regions.
