Senior Engineer - Data Center Operations
Current24/7 Data Center Operations: Managing end-to-end operations with complete ownership, ensuring seamless functioning and adherence to SLAs.Team Management: Leading and managing the facility, BMS, FM contractor, and security teams to ensure operational excellence.Routine Inspections & Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and preventive, corrective, and Emergency maintenance on data center equipment, achieving agreed SLAs.Change Management: Reviewing change requests, performing impact analyses, and implementing changes with necessary approvals, following OEM recommendations.Documentation Management: Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including floor plans, schematics, equipment specifications, change management logs, monthly reports, and inventory trackers.Work Orders & Notifications: Using CMMS to create work orders for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. Generating and closing incident tickets while ensuring SLA compliance.Project Participation & Facility Enhancement: Actively participating in infrastructure projects to improve facility capabilities.Vendor Selection & Management: Evaluating and assisting in vendor selection for equipment, services, and upgrades, monitoring vendor performance, and escalating issues as necessary.Documentation & Compliance: Reviewing, and approving MOPs, SOPs PM task sheets, and EOPs according to manufacturer recommendations.Capacity Management: Updating capacity management trackers monthly. Shift Roster Management: I Ensure 24/7 site coverage through efficient shift roster management, maintaining continuous operational support.Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports in line with client and customer requirements.Customer Support & Communication: Providing responsive support to customers needing facility access, promptly addressing inquiries and service requests, and ensuring timely notifications on maintenance and operations.
