As a defender of information security, my mission is to outsmart and outmaneuver potential attackers, utilizing the latest technologies and tactics to stay one step ahead in this ever-evolving battlefield.I have chosen Governance, Risk, and Compliance as my weapon in this ongoing war. I aspire to defend information security by ensuring that individuals and organizations adopt cybersecurity best practices, fostering a healthy and secure online culture that protects assets and reputation, and adhering to industry standards. I aim to achieve this by creating easily digestible content and resources that speak to people ranging from newcomers to veterans.I grew up as a jack of all trades and a master of none, which is something I both love and hate. I have journeyed throughout the technology space, from learning HTML and web design in 8th grade to moving on to app development using C++ in high school. I then pursued computer engineering at university.It was during my time at university that I was introduced to cybersecurity during my internship. I tried penetration testing for a bit and was actually good at it, but it didn't feel right. Shortly after, I discovered GRC, and I have loved every moment since. That was almost four years ago!My biggest strength is my passion for the things I love: my family, friends, cybersecurity work, football, anime, and movies of many genres.
