  • Perform operational functions connecting to the procurement process, including the receiving of Purchase Requisitions and documents related to assigned procurement actions, issuance of tenders and purchase orders, evaluation of bids, follow-up with suppliers, attendance at Tender Opening Committee (TOC) , preparation of CST, Financial Concurrence, Approval of PO etc. Conduct bids analysis and make simple amendments or renewals of contracts and supply/work orders under the approval of Manger Procurement.• Demeanor an initial review of requests for future procurement action and confirms that all relevant approvals and financial commitments and authorization have been granted from higher authorities.• Review purchase requisitions, orders, contracts and tenders to ensure that they are technically complete and in accordance with established PPRA as well as Departmental rules and procedures.• Monitor and carry follow up action on supply orders and contracts that are in running position with the suppliers/contractors and ascertain that goods/services are supplied in accordance to the promised schedules and arrive to such schedules to close purchase orders/Contracts.• Fill procurement records/files and confirm they are kept in an orderly manner and safely. Organize for TOC and local procurement committee (LPC) meetings.• Coordinate with the logistics and finance units to ensure that all delivery notes/orders are actually endorsed by the concerned units and necessary steps taken to ensure that supplier’s/Contractors invoices are dispatched for payment.• Supplier’s registration information and ensures that the database is kept updated on a regular basis. Regularly update and cases regularly checked for completion. Analyze and evaluate supplier performance. Monitor supplier performance and resolve concerns. • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.• Any other assigned duties.
