I have 20 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehousing management. Having worked in the "Cargo Transportation" sector for many years, I have extensive knowledge and I am also an expert in the field of "Contract Logistics". I have successfully managed the logistics operations of many national and international brands such as Mercedes, Trendyol, BP, English Home, Adidas, H&M, Galatasaray Spor, Metro Gross Market, B/S/H, Roche Diagnostics, Siemens, bioMérieux, Beckman Coulter, Terumo, Becton Dickinson. I led qualified teams ranging in number from 30 to 180 in order to create world-class quality and operational excellence in all the companies I worked for. I started my professional career in 2006 as an "Operation Specialist" at Yurtiçi Lojistik, a subsidiary of Arıkanlı Holding, which provides logistics services in the fields of partial and complete (FTL) transportation, freight forwarding and warehousing. I continued as "Assistant Warehouse Manager" between 2007-2009 and "Logistics Center Manager" between 2009-2010. Between 2010 and 2012, I worked as "Warehouse Operations Manager" responsible for the management of the company's Transfer Centers and warehouses throughout Türkiye. Between 2012 and 2015, I worked as a "Supply Chain Manager" responsible for the management of warehouse operations, supplier network, and logistics processes of D Smart, Doğan Teleshopping, and D Smile companies of Doğan TV Holding.Between 2015 and 2019, as " Warehouses & Distribution Manager" at DSV - Global Transport (Panalpina), which is among the top 3 in the global transportation and logistics field, I managed the budget, performance, and all operational activities of the 4W&D product.This facility under my management was awarded the "LogEx Bronze Certificate" by Panalpina HQ (2017) after being evaluated by Panalpina in terms of many world-class qualifications (finance, operations, OHS, green logistics, sustainability, etc.).Between 2019 and 2023, I worked as a "Logistics Manager" responsible for the management of supply chain, logistics, warehousing activities, and IT operations at Hitit Trans Logistics.Since February 2024, I have been working as “Operations Manager” at UPS HEALTHCARE Türkiye, which provides services in the field of “healthcare logistics” worldwide, responsible for the management of all distribution operations carried out in 3 Cold Storage Facilities (20.000 m2 in total) subject to the Ministry of Health audit throughout Türkiye.Thank you for visiting my profile.Contact; umutcakar@hotmail.com
