What I first recall about my childhood is the rich and striking variety of people around me. It was a multilingual, multicultural and multifaith region of Calcutta,Since then, I find myself surfing the deeply intersecting milieu of cultures, people, places and time. I grew up with their innumerable stories. It carved out a hunger, love and passion for knowledge deep inside my being. Knitted mysteriously within the mesmerising saga of universe, all humans are protagonists. They live and leave the moments behind them. The storyteller is the God of these lived moments, bringing them to life again. Right since the age of Vedas, the most striking character of Indian culture has been a thirst for life and a hunger for the stories of the lived moments. It can be now fed by Apps, far-reaching smartphones and on demand viewing. After having worked as a journalist in print and digital media, I am exploring to rediscover storytelling in a new age, the age of OTT.Currently, I want to release my versatile linguistic and writing capabilities by helping apps, podcasts, vlogs and other OTT platforms. AS A WRITER, I have joined FEAR FACTORY, a suspense and thriller show produced and broadcasted every Thursday by RADIO MIRCHI and simultaneously podcasted on MIRCHI PLUS. The audio drama series is based on adaptations from Indian and world literature. > Earlier, the joint collaboration of RADIO MIRCHI AND SPOTIFY brought the year-long mystery and thriller show SUNDAY SUSPENSE Hindi during 2021 and 2022. The show won the Golden Mike 2022 and 2023 awards for the best storytelling and the best Audio/ Podcasts.
