As the Communication Lead at Nucleate San Antonio, I spearhead our outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives. My role involves:𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡: I develop and implement communication strategies to effectively connect with sponsors, students, mentors, and both academic and industrial institutions. By acting as the primary liaison, I ensure clear, consistent, and impactful communication with all our stakeholders.𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: I organize and coordinate events such as workshops, seminars, and networking gatherings aimed at enhancing our outreach and fostering a robust biotech community. These events are designed to attract participants from various institutes and create opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: I focus on building a vibrant, inclusive community by bringing together diverse groups from different institutions. Conducted agarose gel electrophoresis and successfully transformed recombinant plasmids.𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲: Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, including transfection of HEK293T cells.
