I’m a Product Designer with over 25 years of experience. I've worked in a diverse collection of industries for companies ranging in size from huge to tiny. I’ve learned and used a myriad of tools to produce wireframes/mockups/prototypes and socialize them with team members and constituents. I’ve employed many different research and usability testing techniques to inform the direction of my design work. I’ve planned and executed international focus groups as well as 1-minute guerrilla usability tests on the streets of Palo Alto… and everything in between. I’ve sometimes started with a clean slate and delivered a completely new product, and other times I've seamlessly integrated new functionality into legacy systems.I’ve usually been the sole UX person at a company, but I’ve also had the pleasure to work with teams of other talented product designers and researchers. I’ve usually been an individual contributor, but I’ve also managed a team of designers. The thing that remains constant across this wide range of experiences, however, is my passion for producing the most demonstrably usable and delightful products given any set of constraints.
