Monitoring of Operations: Monitoring and coordination of day-to-day activities of the power plant, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to established protocols.2. Team Leadership: Leading a team of operators, technicians, and support staff during your shift, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.3. Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and prevent accidents or incidents.4. Equipment Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of machinery and equipment, identifying any abnormalities or malfunctions, and taking corrective actions to prevent downtime.5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions or operational problems, diagnosing root causes, and implementing solutions to minimize interruptions in power generation.6. Shift Reporting: Prepare shift reports documenting plant activities, equipment condition, and any incidents or abnormalities that occur during the shift. 7. Communication: Liaising with other shift in-charges, plant management, and maintenance teams to exchange information, coordinate activities, and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.8. Emergency Response: Responding immediately to emergencies, such as equipment malfunctions, power outages, or security incidents, and implementing emergency plans to mitigate risks and restore operations.9. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvement, and cost savings, and implementing related measures to increase overall power plant efficiency.10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices relevant to power plant operations.
