I effectively analysed the source data and developed tools using Oracle views and PL/SQL routines for the extracts and SQL Server stored procedures for the data transformation, ready for the load.Played an instrumental role in fact finding key requirements for the purposes of developing and enhancing a suite of Management Accounts using Crystal Reporting enabling clients to make informed business decisions. Successfully identified bottlenecks in the system and effectively proposed and implemented an archiving and restoration solution for the transactional data of the clients inventory system. Managed the implementation of data interfaces to and from numerous legacy systems ensuring procedures and routines were effective, at any point of failure.

As a Support Consultant the role involved providing : • User support and guidance on application processes which had failed. • Carrying out detailed data analysis of reconciliation issues presented by client using Lawson Financials. • Installing cyclical patches on both environment and application and managed the subsequent delivery across to production systems.

As a Systems Analyst I played an integral part of an implementation project team rolling out Lawson Financials for the UK and European user communities. Key achievements included :- • Developed tools for the conversion of data from legacy system and the subsequent data take-on. • Managing and coordinated the upgrade of Financial Product and its environment. • Migrating Lawson proprietary database (LADB) to an Oracle database. • Delivering bespoke financial and management reports and leading a team offering application/technical support to end user.My initial role was to implement and support a PC based Personnel/Time Recording system around UK depots. I progressed to being part of a team tasked to maintain and enhance bespoke legacy operational systems.
