Its an 11.3 Million Metric Tonnes p.a.(MMTPA) complex crude-oil refinery Planning & Scheduling • Tasked with analyzing & overseeing operations plan of the scale of ~$7bn p.a.• Managed internal stakeholders, heads of all major verticals of the refinery to schedule the plan on groundPricing & Data Analysis • Formulated pricing methodology for intermediate streams to evaluate the inventory• Back-casting analysis: To identify & evaluate factors responsible for deviation from planned performanceProcess Improvement Studies • Recommended new crude blending facility resulting in profit improvement opportunity of $45m p.a.• Proposed use of Naphtha as fuel in CPP and fuel gas for H2 generation (potential savings of $19m p.a.)• Conducted feasibility analysis for refinery expansion leading to a capacity increase from 9 to 11.3 MMTPA
