I am currently a post-doctoral researcher working on the development of a 3D elastic model of the deep structure beneath the Yellowstone hotspot using box tomography. I am also interested in performing deep learning-based analysis and building software packages for wide range of data analyses.Over the past few years, I have worked with several types of data and methods, mainly in Geophysics. My Ph.D. was focused on exploring new analysis methods for seismological and geodetic applications. Starting with my Ph.D. I worked on Surface wave tomography (applied it in the Gujarat region in India). I automated the method recently and applied it to the combined Strong-motion and broadband data in Taiwan (manuscript in preparation). I also used the seismic and infrasound records (with no available visual recordings) to identify and invert the meteor shockwave in Taiwan (published).Further, I analyzed the GPS daily displacement solutions to understand the source of the common-mode error (long-period and spatially coherent)(published). Also, I have developed a high-performance (wisely utilizes all cores and threads in PC for fast computation) software to perform automated Receiver Functions (RF/SRF) and Shear Wave Splitting measurements. Then I added the graphical-user interface using Python to ease the use further (Manuscript in Preparation). This work has been applied in the Afar region in Africa (published).Recently, I have explored the Dynamic Time Warping Algorithm (widely used in speech recognition and machine learning) and its potential for several geophysical applications, including clustering of geodetic data (Under review), earthquake detection, seismic phase identification, and full-waveform inversion (Under review).In addition to these works, I had been working with the Taiwan Earthquake Research Center to design and develop a system for retrieving and analyzing 3D acceleration recorded by a series of high-precision low-budget sensors for earthquake and building monitoring. The system includes several components that, in combination, record the motion, transmits to the server (in real-time), and preprocess and prepare the data for users, real-time data analysis and reporting on the server.
