I spent a research stay at the Autonomous University of Campeche in 2022 working on a study of the electron transport layers for third-generation solar cells. The International Congress of the XXVII Summer of Scientific and Technological Research of the Pacific was another event in which I took part.WHAT CAN I DO?✔ Find and develop the solutions that nanotechnology can offer to the energy generation and storage industry, operating beyond the role of a materials engineer, enabling the creation of more effective, economic, and sustainable options for the industry.✔ To create cutting-edge projects, employ efficient nanotechnological synthesis techniques. In addition to spray pyrolysis, I have experience in hydrothermal, ALD, thermal evaporation, and spin coating.✔ Perform and interpret material characterizations employing techniques such as spectroscopy (EDS, FTIR, UV-vis, DRS), SEM micrographs, structural studies carried out by XRD, electrochemical tests (such as cyclic voltammetry), and thermogravimetric analysis.WHY SELECT ME?By participating in a research stay at the Autonomous University of Campeche, which is far from my home, I can demonstrate my improvement in adaptability to circumstances that are not typical for me. One week was sufficient to perfect the working method, which led me to see the situation's demand as a positive stimulus. Since I was able to grow compact films for more than five hours of deposit, this experience also demonstrated my high work capacity.I gained a great deal of knowledge from the experience, which I was able to impart to many colleagues. Speaking of colleagues, my ability to work in a team is formidable since it was possible to carry out long-term synthesis such as thermal evaporation, as well as integrate two synthesis methods simultaneously, by depositing layers of Zinc Oxide doped with gold and silver nanoparticles, by ALD and Spin Coating respectively.My passions, which are the development of solid-state solar cells, batteries, and piezoelectric nanogenerators, have become clear to me as a result of this recent experience and understanding.Are you interested?
