Managing with a team The BOST (Accra Plain Depot) Terminal facility on the outskirt of Tema, Ghana a 210million Liters capacity facility

I report directly to the Terminal Operations ManagerI coordinate safe operations of 210,000,000 liters of a Petroleum product terminal here at the outskirts of Tema. The operations include but not limited to receipt, loading operation, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and standards.Ensure effective and timely receipts/back loading of products at the Jetty while overseeing the tank farm, gantry and jettyLiaise with Product surveyors/superintendents for efficient product receipt/computation/reconciliations. Develop and manage reporting systems/documentation procedures/bookkeeping/work specifications/simplification and improvement of work processes.Coordinate daily safety tool box talk.Coordinate and ensure safe and successful operations during product receipt from vessels.I also attend to other duties as may be periodically assigned including other terminal operational activities.

Key Responsibilities 1. Assist the Product Coordinator in receipt and loading operations with tank farm technicians, ensuring compliance with safety policies and standards. 2. Arrange the daily safety tool box talk, ensure 'Tollgate meeting' safe operations.3. Prepare reports and maintain documentation and procedure for reporting loading activities, record and bookkeeping, contribute to improvement of work processes and work specifications in the tank farm.4. Ensure compliance to company's laid down health, safety and environment procedure amongst all tank farm technicians and within the tank farm area, with adherence to all safety requirements at the depot.5. Effective support in the administration and training of tank farm technicians for maximum output.6. Attend to other duties as may be periodically assigned by the products coordinator.

 Cordinate proper loading, ullaging and sealing of loaded trucks in line with standard procedure Implementing and sustaining EHSSQ procedures and practices Ensure trucks are properly inspected before use in fleet operations within the Eastern region Maintain a Quality Management System in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Engaging NUPENG officials in Terminal related conflict resolutions. Product quantity shortage resolution.  Liasing with transporters for dispute resolution, payment processing and ensuring that transporter trucks are always available for use.
