Since joining UL as a Senior Project Engineer in 2004 took multiple opportunities to create new business streams that diversified the growth of UL Businesses in India. Including 1. Building Inspections 2. Conducting Forensic Investigations 3. Fire Modelling 4. Foam Inspections.Always worked with the aim of ensuring that UL Mark is accepted in IMEA Markets and gradually fulfilled it by establishing highest product acceptance in the market.Afterward taking further UL's company mission, lead the team and on other occasions played a key role in various business initiatives & creating new services:- Established UL India Fire Safety Council and led 9 FSC formats annually- Created a working matrix with Fire Chiefs, Industries, and various stakeholders including Architects, Engineers, and Consultants- Established William Henry Merrill Scholarships for exemplary students in the Fire Engineering Programs- Built a strong foundational relationship with Fire Chiefs and the Director of Fire & Emergency Services Goa, Mr. Ashok Menon which lead to programs that educated school children on public & fire safety- Played an essential role in several industry partnerships with one of the essential partnerships that took place with IIT Gandhinagar which in effect lead to the setting up of William Henry Merrill Fire Engineering Laboratory and at the same time creating India's first Façade Testing Facility - both at IIT Gandhinagar.Altogether Increasing fire safety awareness; Reducing accidents & fatalities of Firefighters on duty &Building a sound understanding of the critical reasons behind fires & deaths through thorough analysis.

- As a Fire Marshal and Member of Gujarat State Disaster Management created frameworks & guidelines for Building Safety in Gujarat- As part of a high-level team took several efforts to ensure code compliance is followed for the old buildings & structures in Ahmedabad- Received several opportunities to be a key member of different teams to investigate fire in GFSC and neighbouring mutual aid industries
