• Provide pre-sales support for networking & security opportunities in North India• Develop & Respond to Requests for Proposals and Information with a proactive approach• Preparing Bill of Materials – using configuration tools like Cisco Commerce tool, IRIS, HP Online Network Configurator etc.• Prepare technical sales support materials• Develop system design recommendations• Assess the needs and uncover requirements for solutions• Work as part of a sales team towards achieving sales targets for the sales team• Ongoing desire to stay current with market and the latest technologies• Travel as required• Participating in client calls, meetings and presenting solutions• Translating complex business requirements into Network solutions.• Developing overall Network solutions including high-level design, statement of work, Assumptions, Exclusions and bills of materials. • Attending Pre-bid meetings and seeking clarifications on technical specifications, scope of work, solution etc.• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners / OEMs / vendors• Attending key partner events and training sessions.• Producing cost effective, deliverable solutions to customers, based on a detailed pre-sales review of customer requirements, strong product knowledge and applicable professional services. • Design and co-ordinate the development of business solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally• Throughout the proposal process, articulate and demonstrate solutions, influence customer's technical requirements, and position products relative to competition.• Maintain technical and industry knowledge through ongoing training, seminars and certifications.
