- Worked with colleagues in the McMaster ETF Lab (Estimation, tracking and sensor fusion)- Conducted research for the purpose of resolving the radar multi path and ghost detection problem- Focused on a sub - problem for identifying surfaces and orientations using radar point cloud data- Created multiple road scenarios to generate datasets using custom monte carlo radar simulations- Experimented and developed multiple machine learning models utilizing deep neural networks, data filtering and processing- Experimented solving the problem with multi-task convolutional neural networks, self - attention mechanisms and transfer learning with UNets
