My role as a Medtech Programme Coordinator is to support the functions of the Cancer Tech Accelerator Programme.

I support the companies that have already raised through the platform.

StrutFit solves this problem for eCommerce footwear retailers - boosting their sales and slashing their returns. StrutFit is a computer vision and AI size recommendation technology for footwear retailers. The same person will be different sizes across different brands and styles. StrutFit makes sure they get the right size for that particular product. My role at StrutFit entailed finding and reaching out to companies that may have benefitted from the product and maintaining relationships with existing clients. For this, I generated leads and followed up with cold outreaches. After connecting with leads, I had discovery meetings with them where I got to learn more about their problems and worked out how best we could solve them. This helped me develop my presentation and communication skills, as well as skills in negotiation and objection handling.I also managed the company's social media accounts and created content such as newsletters, blog posts, gifs and podcast summaries for marketing purposes. My role entailed optimizing and supporting our team of 38 volunteer students.

I started off as a member of the Challenges team in my first year of involvement with Velocity. My role entailed helping with the organization and marketing of Velocity competitions and challenges.

I volunteered at the SPCA on a monthly basis. My role required me to tend to the rabbitry.
