Hi, I’m Valen (he/him), a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. During and after my studies, I gained hands-on experience in various roles, including social media, communications, administration, design, and non-profits, providing me with a well-rounded skill set and industry knowledge. My background in sales and customer service has also sharpened my leadership abilities, particularly in active listening and effective communication, which I apply in all professional settings.My acting training has taught me valuable lessons in collaboration and teamwork, and I thrive in creative environments where I can connect with others, share ideas, and work toward common goals.In addition to my Fine Arts degree, I’ve completed post-graduate certifications in design and social media marketing/management, enhancing my skills on platforms like Canva, Excel, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Asana, Dext, Keela, Hootsuite, and the full suite of Google Workspace and social media platforms.
